A very dear friend wrote this…please read. A Simple,But Powerful Request.

A friend sent me a message last night in regard to her teenage daughter. Her daughter is having a difficult time seeing the brighter side of life, and finding the beauty within herself.  I was asked to say a prayer for her asking that she will stay on her path of life with the knowledge that life does get better, and that even in our darkest of times there is a light ahead where we love and feel loved and happiness is a reality, not a dream.

Now for those of you that know me I am not a believer in organized religion, but I am a believer of there is a higher power out there.  For everyone this higher power is different.  For me it is a God that watches over all of us and lays a path before us on which we travel.  Along this path we battle the bumps and potholes and as we pass these we become stronger individuals. We are also presented with forks in the road in which we must make a choice in which direction we want to travel.  Sometimes we make the right choice and sometimes we make the not so favorable choice. But no matter what choice we make God is there watching over us to protect us. There are times when the wrong choice is the final choice and we look to that higher power, friends, family and even strangers to pull us back and point us in the right direction. This is one of those times.  I am asking you all on behalf of my friend whether you believe in a God or not to say a prayer or send positive energy for her daughter that she find the tools, and the strength to utilize these resources. To realize that the road may be rough right now, but it does get better.

I’m sure if we all look back to our teenage years whether we want to admit it or not we have had our fair share of problems: love lost, getting picked on, not fitting in, or hiding who we truly are for fear of ridicule or rejection. So I ask this simple, but powerful request for your prayers and positive energy so that this young lady may and I quote Nate Stodghill creator of the The Living Memoir “Learn, Laugh, Love, Live Forever”

Thanks
